I had a very deliberate chance rendezvous with Ophelia when she was touring Sydney.
The opening encounter held that shy hesitance. The measured distance, the quick contemplative glances and the wine to shed the frost. Strangers in foreign waters. She reeked of adventurous youth, and that was a wondrous thing.
Ophelia is fit, flexible and ...soft. A beautiful balance that her photos and my words both fail to adequately represent.
We parted ways talking about books, it was a moment in time far too brief.
