ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
Our time started by myself walking over to meet Lola at a Pub, a gentle smile, waiting. She greeted me with a kiss on each cheek and an aura of calmness. I was exhausted from work, but her presence invigorated me. She made the move and suggested we enter the pub as I was too captivated by her to realize I was just staring. After we had gotten our drinks, Lola would tell me stories of her life and everyday struggles with her day job. When that happens, rarely, when someone wants to make a connection so deeply, nothing else matters. She would speak just about anything. I loved that. In return I would also spill over some of my life dilemmas and in her lovely way, “oh Dan” and naturally proceed to soothe my anxiety out of my body. For what I try to do with other people by listening and creating a trusting environment to feel safe, Lola did that for me, she did that for me. When we did finally get to "the" part of our date, it would not last long. It was over before we even started searching. The “moment”, or the journey. I did not mind. As the entire date was like "the" moment for me. Simply being with her is an absolute privilege.
If I were to describe Lola, she’s easily one of the best humans I’ve ever spent time with. Some models will have a go-to routine; the communication, the movement or looks that they know works. But once that dance ends, some will keep repeating it, never to leave that comfort zone. Lola will flip on this switch, and suddenly there’s this heavy, gravitational shift pulling you towards her. My peripheral starts to narrow and darken. Every moment will never repeat itself. If you miss it, it’s gone forever.
An absolute enigma you must set your eyes upon.
*She did tell me to take "take a mental photo of her", but I am afraid that photo is fading. Definitely will need to see her again to refresh that image :)
