Do what makes you happy!
Covid has thought me many things, one of them being: to not wait. Do what makes you happy, because you never know whether the opportunity will come again!
Travelling and meeting new people makes me happy, so here I am writing to you from the beautiful and tropical capital of the Northern Territory, Darwin. I love discovering national parks and going on travel adventures – it has been always one of my favourite things to do. So yesterday I went on a sightseeing tour to Kakadu National Park, making one of my dreams to come true.
Kakadu is home to over 2,000 species of flora and fauna, all thriving within a host of wetlands, rivers and grand sandstone escarpments. It has Aboriginal rock paintings dating back to prehistoric times, and I couldn’t wait to see it all. The tour bus picked me up at 6am and took about 20 of us tourists to hit the road and go on an adventure.
We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise as we drove deep inside the national park, where our tour guide pointed out some spectacular wildlife: water buffalos, dingoes, many exotic birds, even wild crocodiles. We tracked mountains, saw astounding Aboriginal artwork and countless beautiful views, cruised on rivers among the crocs and enjoyed freshly prepared bush tucker.
I had so much fun discovering nature, and everyone on the bus was so friendly – by the end of the tour we were like best friends, like a family. I have a couple more tours planned for Saturday and Sunday before I head home on Monday.
I like to combine escort tours with sightseeing to make the most of my time away from Sydney, though of course always prioritise pre-booked escort companionship appointments. This is exactly what has happened in Darwin, with pre-booked appointments receiving my full attention; whereas unfortunately ‘same day’ and ‘last minute’ enquires have had to receive a ‘copy and paste’ reply, as I was out enjoying the local sights! It’s such a shame they missed out! Please don’t miss out yourself, and if you see a tour scheduled that you could like to book, get in touch as soon as possible.
