After being a sex worker for so long sometimes you forget how innocent you used to be before. I so clearly remember the time I stared at my friend like a bambi in headlights, innocent as all, when I first learned that she sleeps in the same bed that she works in.
When I first started escorting, I was fortunate enough to be mentored by a close friend who had 10 years experience with both escort and brothel work. We were chatting one day just a bit before I'd started working, and I remember her just casually dropping that sometimes she would sleep overnight at the brothel she worked at because it was so far away from where she lived. I remember just blankly staring at her and in all seriousness and confusion asking if there were separate rooms for the girls to sleep in that were different from the beds they worked in.... I was met with unshakeable laughter.
