Why I prefer a phone call to a text
Hello my wonderful readers, let me relate to you a little story. I have alwas prefered to speak with peaople rather than text . Its good to know who we are communicating with and unspoken words hopefully wont be taken out of context.
The other morning a friend of mine was waiting for aan uber on their way to a very important engagement . we had been texting back and forth for quite a while that day , as I do with those I know well. Unfortunatley or fortunately as it turned out , I had sent an emoji as we quite often do. My friend is a very upright citizen and at the pinacle of profession.
I didnt have my glasses on and sent this emoji that I thought was a money good luck charm as the writing was in chinese. I didnt hear back for a while and thought ok , and commented that i think it was a chinese good luck emoji. My friend couldnt stop laughing .And told me to put my glasses on it was an emoji acharacter wanking ! OMG , as I remember sending that to my brother and havent heard from him since. In his case it was appropriate as he is a wanka. But luckily i knew my friend and it wasnt a stranger .
