I feel free again!
After 18 months of not being able to travel, I can't believe I finally managed to get on an international flight and jet off out of Australia again... but as it seems, not for very long
My first stop was Singapore. I miss Singapore so much. The climate. The food. The people!
Singapore has been my 2nd home for over 20 years, and my 1st for a few years in between before finding my paradise in beautiful Thailand.
My recent visit to Singapore was fantastic! I enjoyed catching up with old faces, some of which I have known for almost 20 years - WOW! Singapore certainly is close to my heart.
I spent a few days there before landing 'home'... I haven't been home for about 18 months. What an ordeal!!
I felt like a kid in a candy shop walking in the door, bring greeted by my fluffy friends and a very happy house mate, but the best part was seeing a sunset out over the beautiful sea - oh and opening my wardrobe!!
I'll be here for about another week before I head back into Australia with over 20 suitcases of clothes, shoes and bags - yes, I am returning to Australia, well at least for the next year.
My home will be in Melbourne, with friends and family, with regular (or irregular) international travel until borders fully open and travel restrictions ease massively.
So for now, enjoy my pic from home, and I'll see you in Melbourne for Christmas!!
Love, Rene x
