It's my birthday very soon! (Yay!)
I wrote about Rilke and aging and the fact that my laptop makes sounds no machine should make. There's also a list, for those who asked, it includes French philosophy from the 1970s, a food processor with genuine horsepower, and the audacious hope of leaving this country for the first time in seven years.
