Ms Pearl is a beautiful lady and a wise soul. Spending time with her makes you feel special, wanted and loved. As a disabled man, It is a unique experience for me to have a beautiful woman pay attention to me and genuinely enjoy my company. She looked right past all my quirks and engaged with the real me, which is exceptionally rare.
Even when things went wrong, she turned them into highlights of the evening. Bonding over pointing out all the missing elements of a supposedly ‘authentic’ dish - I am also a critical eater - turned what could have been a low into a high and is not an experience I will soon forget. I have been on outings where similar situations destroyed an evening out, but she made it one of the best parts.
If more people were like ms Pearl, the world would undoubtedly be a better place.
