And yet another perfect date with Elliott. I am so glad that I asked Elliott to come on a short cruise with me because it became something far deeper than a holiday — it was a space where connection unfolded naturally and joy felt constant.
From the moment we stepped onboard, everything slowed down in the best way. We held hands everywhere, as if letting go simply wasn’t an option. There were cuddles that felt grounding, little kisses that came without thought, and a quiet sense of ease that stayed with us the entire time. Being together felt natural, unforced, and deeply comfortable.
We did life side by side — gym sessions that turned into laughter, long walks around the ship where conversation flowed easily, moments of wandering, shopping, and simply being present with each other. Time seemed to stretch, not because there was so much to do, but because every moment felt worth lingering in.
One night, dressed beautifully — a ball gown and a tuxedo — we shared the Chef’s Table experience. Watching him move so effortlessly between casual and formal reminded me how grounded and capable he is. Confident, relaxed, and completely himself. The food was indulgent, abundant, and shared with joy (and yes, a little too much of it), but what mattered most was the closeness, the laughter, the way we leaned into each other and never let go.
The shows were spectacular, but even sitting there, surrounded by lights and music, my favourite moments were the small ones — a hand squeezed, a shared smile, a laugh that lingered longer than the punchline. Late-night walks, the soft movement of the ship, and the feeling of being wrapped in the right company made everything feel quietly perfect.
The cruise created the setting, but it was the company that made it meaningful. Easy affection. Genuine laughter. Deep comfort. The kind of togetherness that doesn’t need to be loud to be unforgettable.
