I know I’ve been rattling on about the country life, but let me tell you—it suits me perfectly! For one week every few months, bouncing from town to town means I get to meet so many incredible people and soak up the rich stories of their country existence. There’s a treasure trove of experiences and lifestyles out here, and I feel so lucky to dive into all of it!

I can hardly wait for Sunday! Not only is it Australia Day, but it’s also my beautiful mother’s birthday, who’s no longer with us. I plan to celebrate her in style by visiting some lovely wineries outside of Albury—a little glass of bubbly, perhaps some shiraz, and maybe even a touch of port to toast her memory and the Aussie spirit.

With just four more days on my tour, I’m determined to squeeze every last ounce of fun and adventure! Off to Shepparton today—I'll be there all night long. Then it’s all about Albury on Saturday morning, gearing up for a fabulous Saturday night in the big town!
