A question I often get asked when meeting clients is - what type of clients see you?
I am asked so often that I thought, why not write about it.
So who does see Violet? Well, the short answer is that my client demographic is very diverse.
The long answer - I knew when working on my branding for Violet it was of utmost importance to convey my refreshing genuinity and authenticity as well as that I was an open and safe space for folks from all walks of life to connect with me.
By doing so I have accomplished what I set out to do and I am very grateful that I have such a diverse and wholesome client base built on mutual respect and care. For those still curious, my client base is a mixture of men, women, non-binary, transgender, couples and folks with disabilities.
I often attract men who are looking for more intimacy in their life. The kind of intimacy that involves being both in and out of the bedroom. Sharing snacks at a cafe together, a cheeky drink, dinner dates, adventure days, exploring a museum and nature walks. I am someone who cherishes building intimacy and connection with like-minded folks.
I also attract the shy and nervous types who are looking for guidance with dating and learning new skills in the bedroom. I really enjoy seeing my sweet nervous nellies and helping build their confidence. I was a very shy person for a long time and can relate on many levels. Becoming a companion has enriched my life in many ways but especially my confidence and being able to help others with this, honestly it makes my heart sing.
I often get invited to join couples which will always hold a special place in my heart. Sometimes the couple has been together for 20 years, sometimes 1 year. It’s always a joy to be a part of this new experience and ensure everyone is feeling safe and that their boundaries are respected. There are so many different ways a threesome can look and I always encourage folks to be as open as possible with their communication and desires for our time together.
I am grateful for my female clients and love to see that women are seeking companionship more often these days. The women I see vary in their sexuality journey. From lesbians in their 40s and 50s to bi-curious women wanting to try something new.
I feel incredibly fortunate when meeting with trans/gender diverse folks. Creating a safe and welcoming space to help support folks in exploring their gender/sexuality is really beautiful and I don't take that lightly.
I am a firm believer that companionship is for every one and this sentiment was important in building Violet's core values. As a pansexual woman who has been in platonic and romantic relationships with men, women, transgender and non-binary folks, it was important that I made it clear that I am an open and safe person to explore with.
Something I would like to add is that seeking companionship does not have to involve sex. There can be intimacy “without going all the way.” I often see folks who prefer to get to know one another before jumping into bed. Or maybe we do jump into bed for some wholesome cuddles and pillow talk.
I respect and appreciate that everyone has different needs and move at different paces. Listening to our bodies and minds is the key to living authentically.
