Landing back softly after finishing my first tour in my homeland, the little red dot of Singapore.
There was where I celebrated Lunar New Year with my family, explored a few rooftop bars, and met a few of your charming faces. I received a really warm welcome and had a really incredible time, and left to go back to Australia tired but smiling inside.
Thank you to everyone who shared a glass of wine, sweet pastries and swapped stories about your experiences living abroad with me. I really enjoyed meeting every one of you!
According to Chinese culture, this is the Year of The Horse, an animal symbolising success, passion, energy, freedom, independence and strength. These are qualities that I'd like for all of us, peer and patron alike, to experience more of in the coming future.
