escort diary® of Kaliheartholistic: The Day I Forgot to Hold Myself
There’s a certain kind of day that doesn’t ask anything from you.
No expectations. No roles to play. No version of yourself to maintain.
I had one of those days recently.
She picked me up, and we just went. No real plan. Just following whatever felt good in the moment.
We ate. We laughed. We changed outfits three times for no real reason. Took photos that were half playful, half chaotic.
And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I felt something soften.
Not in a dramatic way. Nothing obvious.
Just a quiet drop. Like my body stopped bracing without asking permission.
I didn’t realise how much I had been holding until I wasn’t.
That’s the thing about it. The holding feels normal… until it’s gone.
And then you notice how much effort was sitting underneath everything.
Most men I meet live with that same kind of holding. It’s subtle. Almost invisible.
But it’s there.
In the way they sit.
In the way they breathe.
In the way their body never quite fully lands.
It’s not something they chose. It’s something their body learned.
A kind of quiet preparation. Always ready. Always slightly guarded.
And it makes sense.
At some point, that holding probably protected them.
But now… it keeps them from feeling the very thing they’re looking for.
Ease. Connection. That simple feeling of being able to just… be.
What I’ve come to notice is that nothing really changes through effort.
It changes in the moment your body realises it doesn’t need to keep holding.
When it feels met instead of watched.
When there’s no pressure to respond a certain way.
When touch doesn’t ask anything from you.
That’s when something opens.
Not all at once. Not dramatically. Just a small shift.
A deeper breath.
A softer chest.
A sense of weight returning to the body.
And in that moment… there’s nothing to fix.
Nothing to prove.
Just you, as you are. And somehow, that feels like more than enough.
