escort diary® of Agatha Fox: Blue Mountains

After two long weekends in a row working, last Friday I finally went to the Blue Mountains.
Even after so many years living in Sydney, it was my first time there. I believe this time of the year is the best to go for a walk and see the Three Sisters, and to have a delicious breakfast at the Yellow Deli — a cozy restaurant run by a self-sustaining community of about 60 people.

The beginning of winter isn’t too cold, so I went with a friend to the Japanese Bath House, which has thermal pools at 38 degrees, a steam room, and massage services. I felt like a queen... entering the pool made my muscles relax instantly.

Even with the cloudy weather, the view from the top was still beautiful. Unfortunately, at the end of our visit, their restaurant was full. I didn’t know we had to book in advance. Since they have a limit on the number of people per hour, I expected there would be space. Honestly, their website photos don’t do justice to what they actually offer. If they’re fully booked even with such modest marketing, I can only imagine we’d have to book a month in advance if they had better photos.

We drove back to Katoomba and found a small Chinese restaurant, also owned by a traditional family, with amazing decor and great customer service.

Late that night, I was back in Sydney to work on Saturday. I felt refreshed and relaxed for my appointments... had a cup of lemon, ginger, and flower tea, then went to bed.

It will definitely be a great suggestion for clients.
Would you like to join me next time at this spa?
I can’t wait to go again — in good company.

With love,
Agatha x
