Some may take a dim view of keeping secrets. But can I share one with you now?

I don’t see secrets that way. For me, secrets should be held, not hidden. They deserve a safe sanctuary where they can thrive.

Because the truth is, there are moments when the only way to express our authentic, relaxed, at-peace selves is through creating secrets. Not to deceive. But to preserve our true nature and protect the semblance of the person the world around us needs us to be.

So often the world needs you to be ‘on.’ It needs you to make decisions at a million-and-two miles per hour. And when your mind is constantly occupied by taking care of all of life’s must-dos, slowing your thoughts to a tempo that lets you linger and remember life’s pleasures is… Well, it’s difficult.

You’ve arrived here recognising that it’s time to pause and grant yourself the sensual liberation you’re craving. You need time to remember…

…how good it feels to laugh freely with someone who gets you.
…how good it feels to smile, spontaneously and genuinely.
…how good it feels to be touched with real intention.
