Lately it feels like I'm getting called Kat more than I'm called my real name... And it really has me thinking - Who is Kat? And is she my alias, or my alter-ego?
An alias is just another name. Same person, two names. Like a nickname, you could say. Whereas an alter-ego is different, it's having a totally different and secondary personality. Think Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (if you don't get that reference then we probably wouldn't be able to be friends - Just saying). Having an alter-ego sounds cool, but when it comes that you're acting as your alter-ego for 95% of everyday, then at what point do you begin to lose yourself?
