This is a complex one. The decision around rates often has a bit to do with what doesn't get seen. For example, advertising, photography, preparation for the date, travel time etc. Then the actual date often blocks out most of the times around it. So, I consider this and make the first hour at full rate, then I offer discounts on longer booking as i figure I am already there, so why not spend more time together and recognise that it's one booking rather than multiple short booking.
I prefer longer bookings as they are more relaxed, with more time spend together and enjoy company, this is also why I discount them.
