Let’s talk about something near & dear to the heart of professional Dommes: tributes.
Now, you might think that a session fee covers everything, but, as my clients know well, there’s an art to showing respect beyond that standard structure.
My USA clients, for instance, understand that tribute isn’t just a transaction; it’s an acknowledgment of value, a way to honour the time, effort, & expertise invested in every exchange. And yes, that includes the moments outside of 'official' session hours.
Tributes are not merely payment; they are a way for clients to show genuine appreciation for the free content, insights, & moments I share outside our regular sessions. While I love creating memorable experiences within session boundaries, ongoing engagement, including voice notes, tailored advice, & other personal touches, require my dedicated time & attention. Those clients who send tributes for these additional interactions understand this dynamic. They value the relationship we build & recognise that my time is valuable, whether we’re face-to-face, in a voice note, or through written guidance.
