New Zealand Its time to return to play in the Mountians for a moment and smile with some familiar faces
Dear Diary,
Its been an eventful week here in Sydney, one of the types that test a person's character, whether to sink or swim it was a little like treading water admittedly.
A week that starts at your accountant's office generally doesn't always set me up for the happiest of weeks ahead, although I'm set up well the past accountant wasn't amazing for my future prospects - so its always a little pinching during my accounting meetings.
Along with the media hype over recent SW related issues building tension between an otherwise very tight community, it's nice to be in the comfort of my home city to see a community come together in support. Then there's my least favourable experience this week of bullying, as my personal life clashed with my work persona, the topic of my being a S.W. was smeared throughout my social engagements of late.
With tension building in my high society friendship circles, I'm choosing to take a moment away from the issue and gift myself with time on the mountain, as I reached out to some of my most favourable past time playfriends, I was eagerly welcomed to return to New Zealand, which is just what the soul was yearning for.
I am feeling very blessed to say that I have been comforted by fellow S.W. Mia Westwood, CeCe Regin, Vivien Black and some values clients too, being a part of the S.W. community can be is so warm and friendly at times.
I'm so grateful, this week was one of those weeks.
There are Ebs and Flows, with the business as is everything, but I'm glad I took this road it truly helped me reach so many personal goals.
Although this society divide & bullying is a real thing, I don't think I will let it hinder my future in this industry.
I'm sure it sounds basic but maybe everything does happen for a reason, maybe my therapist path will end up opening avenues for SW friendly spaces to talk openly about bullying and other non-civil friendly topics.
So, Its time to get packed as I plan to head off first thing tomorrow - Sydney see you in a few days, I'm outta here to catch a blissful vibe and bring back some balance between tours, I'm excited and positive that this adventure will be one to remember.
