Invest to Connect
I was only able to work Friday this week (school holidays and parenting responsibilities call) but had the pleasure of some divine dates, complete with purely hedonistic pleasure and excellent company. While yesterday was a whirlwind and left me little time to pause, today has been a lot slower and I had some time to think more about the importance of connection in our work.
The reality is that when a client chooses to invest in a longer booking duration with me, they are not actually expecting a whole lot more hanky panky. Of course they know (depending on factors such as their age, stamina, etc) that the sexy business will happen at some point but they don’t feel rushed to get to it. In fact, the build up, conversation, flirting, laughing, socializing - CONNECTING- is often just as, if not more, pleasurable than the sexual interaction which ensues.
And time gives us both the opportunity to feel comfortable with each other, discuss turn ons and turn offs, and establish a much better interpersonal connection than we would have in a limited half hour booking. And that interpersonal connection, those discussions and lack of time pressure, all lead to a WAY more satisfying sexual climax. The sex is just better. We’re no longer strangers to each other and just as we got to know each other’s tastes and interests, we get to explore each other’s bodies in an unhurried and intimate experience.
My advice? If you’ve got the option, always invest in more time and reap the benefits. You won’t regret it.
