Back home in the GC!
SYDNEY WASN’T WHAT I EXPECTED…
Arriving to the cold weather and grey skies, I definitely second-guessed my decision to leave the Gold Coast in the middle of winter.
But once I settled into the slower pace, I realised I was probably long overdue for a few days where I could reset with nowhere to be.
This trip gave me the perfect excuse to have some incredible meals, do a little damage shopping (okay, maybe a lot), and just enjoy having nowhere to be.
The unexpected part? The genuinely great conversations and connections I had with people I never would have crossed paths with at home.
Thank you to all of you who I had the pleasure of spending time with … it was the best reminder that the right people appear when you stop looking and just let life happen.
