Today, I was so excited to finally head out to Albury to see my wonderful clients and friends. I had been looking forward to reconnecting, sharing good times, and making more memories in that beautiful part of the world. But then, just as the heatwave hit Melbourne, everything changed.
The trains—my main way to get to Albury—have been shut down due to the extreme heat. It’s frustrating and honestly pretty heartbreaking, because I had such high hopes for this trip. I had to make the tough decision to cancel the tour, and I’m really upset about it. To everyone who was booked in out there — I am truly sorry. I was so looking forward to seeing you all, and I can’t wait to come back.
But I’m remaining hopeful. I’m waiting on a new date to reschedule, probably around February 6 and 7 — just before Valentine’s Day. I think those dates might work, and I’d love to make it happen then.
In the meantime, I’m still hoping to get out to Yarrawonga and Griffith, but if the trains aren’t operating, I won’t be able to go. It’s honestly a bit disappointing, but I know these things happen, and safety always comes first.
Now I’m just counting down and looking forward to when I can make it out there again. Until then, stay safe, everyone — I’ll keep you posted, and I can’t wait to see you all soon.
