I was thrilled to see Piper was finally doing her first tour of Melbourne and jumped at the chance to meet her in person.
There's always a certain amount of nerves when I get to meet one of my Twitter crushes in person for the first time. Despite this I was immediately disarmed by Piper's bubbly personality. Her picture's give her the appearance of being quite serious although I knew from following her online for over a year that she has a fun and tender side as well.
We shared some embarrassing stories over a couple of drinks and I found myself talking easily about things I've never found the courage to share. The rest of the night was a dream (she literally reappeared in my dreams later that night long after she had left) and I'll be sure to keep an eye on her touring schedule so as not to miss out an a second night in her company.
Piper is bubbly, boisterous, beautiful and a blessing to anyone lucky enough to make her acquaintance.
