Cancellation and Refunds:

Deposits are non-refundable due to my substantial business costs of accomodation, marketing and travel. Additionally, I hope you can understand that I dedicate many unbillable hours to administrative tasks.

In the event that you cancel, I am happy to credit your deposit to a future booking. 
Please consider that I use your deposit to cover the cost of a hotel incall space.
Therefore, your deposit may not always be put aside for a future booking if you cancel last minute. 
Deposits are always refundable in the rare case where I need to cancel.
In the case where I feel unsafe to proceed with a booking, I reserve the right to keep your deposit.
I do my best to be honest and fair, so I hope you can treat me with the same level of dignity.

Why do you ask for a deposit? Can't I just show up and pay cash?

Deposits are an integral business practice and personal safety measure.

Deposits demonstrate that you as a client, are genuine about booking and are unlikely to cancel last minute or no-show. Please understand that they are essential as I plan my personal schedule in order to accomodate bookings and spend time and energy getting ready for our booking. Additionally, deposits cover the cost of my hotel incall and marketing. 

In terms of safety, they are a way to protect myself from risks such as: outcalls to a fake location (yes this happens and puts workers in dangerous situations) and address collectors. I hope you can understand and empathise with me.
