HOW TO TOUR LIKE A BOSS!
AS fun and exciting as it is adventuring across the country, tours can take it out of you.
As an advocate for good health both mentally and physically, I’m always looking for ways to make everything flow smoothly for me.
This year has been huge for me for touring and I’ve finally worked out a method I follow everytime to ensure I have the best tour possible.
Here is a list of some of the key things for me…
1. SET UP YOUR SPACE.
Add some of your own personal charm to the space you are working in – it takes away from the monotonous hotel room feel, makes you feel more at home and gives your clients a little bit more of a taste of who you are as an escort.
I have pre-packed ready to go what I like to call my ‘escort travelling kit’. A little basket full of the essentials plus some other little touches. I bring coloured sarongs to place over lamps, a few little candle holders and I even have a little framed erotic art print. It doesn’t take up a lot of space in your luggage, and trust me, the extra little touches will make you feel more at home and give you a better representation of your personal brand.
I also buy myself a bunch of flowers as soon as I get my first supplies and put them in a vase. It’s the little things that make all of the difference.
2. GET ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR AREA
Remember – your clients need clear and easy directions to where you are staying. Scan the area as soon as you arrive and prepare your list for any questions. What is the parking like? Is there an alternative discreet entrance? Is there anything nearby?
To give the clearest and easiest directions, I take photos of the front of the building and the entrances to send to clients. It makes it far easier to explain and most guys prefer to just glance at a photo rather than read long winded texts about how to get access to the carpark etc.
Also saves YOU time by not having to be on your phone excessively while you’re trying to do the important stuff, like your hair and makeup!
3. GET OUT OF YOUR HOTEL ROOM
Especially for extended tours, the same four walls can get boring after awhile.
It’s so good for the soul to get out of the space! Make the most of hotel common areas.
Most hotels will have a nice sitting area – I love to take my book or my laptop down and do my business from there. Its comforting being around the hustle and bustle of people coming and going and most of the time the lounges are more comfortable than the shitty bulk buy ones in your hotel room.
Also look for a local park. Fresh air, vitamin D. Science says that being around nature and trees activates a chemical response in your body that releases more endorphins and serotonin. Sometimes a change of scenery is all you need to uplift your mood. Food for the soul. X
4. FIND INTERESTING PLACES TO FUCK
You know what I love about having an escort mentality? Most normal people walk into a room and see furniture. I walk into a room and see plenty of opportunity for creative fucking. Such an unconventional life haha but we love it right?
Think outside the box. Make the most of your hotel room. See how creative you can get. Your clients will love it and it’s a great way to spice up your sex life.
The shower, the table, the chair, the balcony, the sauna, the desk. The choices are limitless – get amongst it girl!
5. ALWAYS TRAVEL WITH A SELF-CARE LOVE KIT
Never ever leave this behind. Put yourself first always.
We work in an industry where we are connecting with people on a very intimate level. The more you have inside you, the more you have to give. The more you have to give, the happier your clients are. The happier your clients are, the more kick-ass your business is
My self care kit – face mask, bath salts, artbook and oil pastels, essential oils.
Whatever works for you – create your own self love ritual and always make yourself a priority. X
6. NEVER EVER EVER FLY TIGER!!!!!
Don’t be deceived by the amount of money you will save on flights.
Trust me. At first I was lured in by the cheaper rates. And THEN I discovered the front exit row – complete with complimentary queue jump and all of the extra leg room. I thought it was a dream. Too good to be true.
Well it was!! EVERY SINGLE TIME I have flown with Tiger their flight is delayed by AT LEAST an hour. The final straw for me was the last trip where my flight was delayed for FIVE HOURS.
It’s not worth the money you will save. Stick with the big airlines if you want to depart and arrive on time.
